I most definitely should have some kind of designer Christmas tree..I mean, having a kids’ tree is fine.Multi-colored lights and mis-matched ornaments aren’t the end of the world, but really I should have a second tree (or a third or a fourth) that’s all done up “properly”..

I just didn’t feel like it.We usually put the second tree in the kitchen, but we’re having a big new table delivered in there and I just wanted to leave the extra space empty to move around in while I’m setting up and enjoying the new table..

I cringed a little when Kennedy insisted on the multi-colored light.

The rest of the house, though, is decorated within and inch of it’s life and I’m loving it all.Plus I really don’t mind them.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that even though there are tons of areas of this house that I think are ugly and drive me crazy, there are also a lot of areas that I. know.are ugly, but that I still manage to enjoy.. Every once in awhile I get lucky and notice all of these little things all at once and then I realize “I live here.I’ve been waiting to be able to show you this corner of Kennedy’s room and it’s finally now at the point where I thought it would be done.

Of course, it’s not.. but let’s look at it anyway, shall we?.We used to have this giant old monstrosity of a TV in here for her to watch her iCarly on, but we got her this new flat screen for her birthday last week, so now things are starting look a little better..
